Donna J. Quinby, DMD, MSD
Dr. Donna: What do you enjoy most about being a pediatric dentist?

"Being able to help shape dental experiences for children and guide them from their 'I can't' to their 'I did it' moment - is truly gratifying."

Early experiences paved the way
Dr. Quinby was born and raised in New Jersey and is the oldest of two children. Her first visit to a pediatric dentist at the age of three was instrumental in her decision to become a dentist, announcing to her mother when returning to the reception area, "This is what I want to do when I grow up." Dr. Donna (as her patients call her) received her Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology from Fairleigh Dickinson University and her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Her skill and heart to serve special needs children was recognized in dental school when she received an award from the Academy of Dentistry for the Handicapped, for high achievement in dental care for the handicapped. These early academic experiences with children piqued and solidified her interest to pursue a career in pediatric dentistry - to provide care to all children.

Dr. Donna lands in Seattle!
Dr. Donna traveled to Seattle for the residency program in hospital dentistry at the University of Washington Medical Center. She received her Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry and Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) in 1998 from the University of Washington.
